We have used and tested this service thoroughly. Some of our employees have found their wife soon to be. Therefore we are sharing our knowledge on what you should or should not do so you don't waste time and money. These tips are applicable to all online dating agencies.

1. Buying Email Addresses: Do not buy email addresses if you don't know any of the languages she knows. It's very likely that she will not respond. Use Express Mail in such instances.

2. Write to more than one woman: Not all women will reply. In our experience, 5% of the women did not reply. Not all men can be the right person for any women, so to increase your chances, contact as many women as you like. We suggest you subscribe to a Platinum membership in such instance. The initial fee is a little high ($95) but it's reduced to $29.95 monthly and includes 100 free email addresses every month plus discounted letters (Express Mail that includes translation).

3. Tell her as much as you can about you in your first letter: Give her as many details as you can so that if you are not her type, you won't waste your time and money.

4. Don't send her photos of yourself semi-naked before you get to know her better: This may sound obvious but some well built men may try to make a good impression with their physique. Since many of these women are conservative, it is likely to have a negative impact. Save those pictures for later.

5. Use simple English when writing letters: It is very likely that the women you are writing to do not understand our everyday language especially when writing to her directly (not using Express Mail).

6. Not sure if she's real? Scam?: We have not witnessed such instances but if you aren't sure, ask her for a photo next to something unusual like a Christmas Tree during Christmas. Still not sure? Ask her for her phone number and call her. Try to pick her intentions from her voice. Do not ask her for her postal address before you get to know her better. It's unlikely that she will give it to you but you may always try. Still not sure? Click our link "Foreign Women Scam" and a private investigation company will do a whole background check on your woman, withholding all your privacy.

7. Send her gifts on special occasions: It is well known that women appreciate receiving gifts. Show her that your intentions are serious and do not forget her birthday! It's very likely that she will show you her appreciation in a way or another!

8. Meet your women when things start getting serious: It is true that visiting your women will cost a lot but if you are serious about your woman, you have to. It is stated that 70% of unsuccessful foreign brides is the lack of meeting with their woman. You can meet your woman on a tour (see tours schedule). This is the best option since A Foreign Affair takes care of flights, accommodation, introducing you to your women on social events and anything you desire.

9. Not the "letters" type? Meet 100's of women on tours: Click our "Singles Romantic Tours" to view tours and prices. Prices include flights, accommodation, social events, personal introductions and more. Please read our notes and verify any changes using the provided email address. Click "Order Tour" to book your desired tour.
